A poultice is a powder made with volcanic ashes from sources such as: kaolin, fuller’s earth, among others. Water is added to the powder to make a paste of light consistency to be applied to the skin in a very thin layer. Can be combined with essential oils, citrus essences or absolutes (active ingredients).
